The drinks are on Ziggy’s Rooftop Bar this bank holiday weekend…

The popular Caribbean-themed terrace bar overlooking Margate sands reopens for the summer on Saturday 25^th May, and will be throwing a launch party to celebrate from 12noon to 9pm.

But if you’re planning to join the fun, get there early; the first 100 guests will receive a FREE mojito on arrival!

The Sisters of Reggae will be spinning the decks while guest enjoy slabs of jerk BBQ chicken, halloumi and vegan cheese with pineapple and scotch bonnet salsa, all washed down with the bar’s signature mix of exotic cocktails, including Dark & Stormy, Ziggy’s Rum Punch, and Tequila Sunrises. All enjoyed while drinking in some of the best views in town.

The opening party not only coincides with the much-loved Margate Meltdown gathering of bikers over the bank holiday weekend, but will also be a precursor to Dreamland Margate’s latest sunset session with legendary DJs Norman Jay, Don Letts and Jazzy B playing soul, rock steady and reggae on the Scenic Stage from 6pm to 11pm.

Ziggy’s is run by the team behind Cinque Ports pub, which celebrates its 2^nd birthday this weekend, and is part of the Dreamland Margate family.

2019 opening hours (subject to weather conditions) will be:

• Fridays 12-10pm
• Saturdays 12-10.30pm
• Sundays 12-8pm (Bank Holiday Sundays until 10pm)
• Bank Holiday Monday 12-8pm
