£10,000 boost for education at Demelza from East Kent Freemasons

Demelza Hospice Care for Children has received a vital cash boost from the Cornwallis East Kent Freemasons’ Charity (CEKFC). The presentation of £10,000, which was raised by Freemasons across East Kent, was made by representatives of CEKFC at the Hospice’s headquarters in Bobbing.

The visitors enjoyed a tour of the facilities and a talk on how this donation will be used to support their programme of essential clinical education.

Alex Kopyciok, Trusts Fundraiser, said: “Our aim is to be at the forefront of hospice care provision. We’ll be putting this donation to good use helping us build on our excellent standards of clinical education. With a 60 strong team of nurses and health care assistants, there is always a need for staff training and mentoring. We are truly grateful for the ongoing support we receive from the Freemason of East Kent and the CEKFC.”
