A Happy Day at Babington House School

This year’s GCSE results were amazing with all the students achieving the grades they needed to move on into Babington’s Sixth Form and other prestigious schools.

Emily was overjoyed to receive so many 9 grades saying “there are only 1000 grade 9s in the county and I’ve got five of them!” The coveted grade 9 is the equivalent of a double starred A, and 7 equates to an A grade. All Babington pupils exceeded their targets this year and the overall percentages reflect a huge amount on individual endeavour, with 55% achieving grades 7-9 and 97% achieving grades 4-9.

“The individual achievement and hard work of the staff and pupils shines through in these results and I am absolutely delighted,” said Tim Lello, the headmaster.
