Age Concern Sandwich is a community-based independent charity providing social support to the over 50’s. Our mission is to promote the well-being of mature adults, to help make their future a fulfilling and enjoyable experience, and to enhance the social aspects of life.
Based in the heart of the local community the Centre provides a caring and friendly environment where people can meet up and join in with the many services and activities offered. The charity also has two shops which are regularly stocked with a variety of bargains.

From Monday to Friday, we serve delicious two-course lunches in the Centre and deliver with our Meals and Wheels service to those unable to leave their home. Available to book.
If you fancy a bath but have limited mobility or lack confidence bathing at home, then come and try our assisted bathing services. Our bathing service is available to anyone who needs assistance at any time (maybe after hospitalisation, operations, or has poor mobility and being unable to bath unaided.
Whether it’s a shower or Ambulift bath with assisted lift, we offer fully assisted bathing with a qualified member of staff in a safe, secure, warm and comforting environment. Just call 01304 614237 to book an appointment or for more information.
Everyone over the age of 50 is welcome. There’s no membership needed. Simply drop in and have a chat over a cup of coffee. The Centre is open weekdays from 9am-4pm (closed Bank Holidays/Christmas).
