A new great-value addition to ALDI’s wine range, Dealuri Pinot Noir

Following the success of two wines launched into ALDI last year, Cramele Recas – Romania’s largest exporter of wine – has launched a new listing at the supermarket chain in the UK, Dealuri Pinot Noir.

The regular drinker might be surprised to see Pinot Noir coming from Romania, but actually it has been successfully cultivated in the south of Romania for fifty years.

Wrapped in a cheerful colourful depiction of the Romanian flag, Dealuri Pinot Noir offers fantastic value from this most difficult of varieties to grow well. Despite Romania’s very warm climate, it has delicious, mouth-watering freshness and a lovely varietal aroma of wild strawberries and cherries. Perfect with a cheeseboard of soft
cow’s cheeses, it can also be served slightly chilled as an aperitif.

“With the possible exception of Chile, you would be hard pushed to find any Pinot Noir this drinkable for nearly twice the price.” – Joe Wadsack, The Drinks Coach UK

Dealuri Pinot Noir Romania (ALDI) £4.99
