A Night to Celebrate Tunbridge Wells’ Outstanding Businesses

Celebrating the exceptional companies and businesspeople based in Tunbridge Wells, and the vital contribution they make to our local economy and wider community, the prestigious Tunbridge Wells Business Awards were launched last year by Jess Gibson of the TN card and have quickly become the town’s biggest celebration of creativity, determination and excellence within our thriving independent business community.

The Tunbridge Wells Business Awards 2025, proudly supported by headline sponsor Berry & Lamberts Solicitors, took place at Trinity Theatre on 19 November. Reception highlights included bespoke pizzas from Tunbridge Wells favourite Rascals Catering, jazz vocals from local singer Jennifer Maslin, and a selfie mirror from Odyssey Events. After the ceremony, guests continued the celebrations with music from MINT DJs, cakes from Sweet Temptations Cakery and gifts generously sponsored by Benenden Hospital. The reception offered another opportunity to shine a spotlight on local independent businesses, reflecting the awards’ ethos of championing and supporting the talented enterprises that call Tunbridge Wells home.

The glittering awards ceremony was hosted by Jess Gibson alongside Jacqui Green, CEO of Trinity Theatre. A film celebrating the finalists, sponsored by GM Valentine Family Funeral Directors, together with a live podcast recorded on the night by Brilliant Businesses, further added to the sense of occasion and brought the stories behind the shortlisted businesses to life.

The evening was not only a celebration of business excellence but also a powerful show of community spirit, raising an impressive £7,200 for three local charities: Aspens Charities, Nourish Community Foodbank and Trinity Theatre.

Speaking after the event, Jess Gibson said: “It was an incredible night, and one I’ll remember for a long time. My heartfelt congratulations not just to our winners and highly commended businesses, but to everyone who made the shortlist – the standard was exceptionally high, and being a finalist is a testament to all you do. The TN card has shown me what’s possible when we support one another. Being able to celebrate our local businesses, raise money for important charities and enjoy a night that means so much locally is something I’m incredibly proud of. My sincere thanks to our sponsors, judges and the team at Trinity Theatre for making the awards possible.”
