A Touch of Cornwall Comes to Canterbury
Shanty singers, Cornish apple juice and fudge will herald the arrival of Cornish clothing brand, Seasalt, to Whitefriars Canterbury on Saturday, 19 March.
Its newest shop will open in the Marlowe Arcade and will take Seasalt’s total of shops to 33 alongside their existing branches across much of the south of the UK.
Well-known for its maritime-inspired clothing and accessories, the Seasalt team designs its ranges from studios right by the sea in Falmouth, Cornwall, giving a truly authentic feel of coastal living. Seasalt will offer Canterbury shoppers its popular womenswear range, as well as its new footwear lines.
Seasalt co-founder, Neil Chadwick, says: “We’ve all worked incredibly hard to get to where we are and we’re thrilled to be able to expand our business to another site further east for us. Canterbury is a brilliant location for us – it’s got great charisma and is well-known for offering a more ‘individual’ shopping experience for customers – something that’s always been a large part of our brand.”
