A worldwide premiere and 8200 watts of sound – all part of the Beoshop group’s exclusive anniversary customer event!

Kent’s audiophiles were amongst the first in the UK to see Bang & Olufsen’s new Cool Modern Collection after the locally-based Beoshop group hosted a prestigious event that coincided with the worldwide launch of the exclusive product range.

The unveiling of the Cool Modern Collection was the highlight of the group’s Bang & Olufsen 91st anniversary event, which took place at the London Golf Club on the evening of 17th November – the same day that Bang & Olufsen revealed the stunning brass-finished range of products to the world.

Over 120 guests, consisting of customers of the Beoshop group’s Bang & Olufsen showrooms in Bexleyheath, Bromley, Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells, attended the evening, which celebrated the acclaimed’s manufacturer’s rich history and showcased the very best in audiovisual excellence.

After a champagne reception, guests were invited to enjoy a greater insight into the world of Bang & Olufsen through three ‘experience’ rooms at the award-winning venue.

One room was dedicated to the Cool Modern Collection, allowing ample space for customers to fully experience the line-up of distinctive audio systems, loudspeakers and televisions, while another featured the latest additions to the innovative B&O PLAY range of products, such as headphones and Bluetooth-enabled portable speakers.

In the final room, guests were able to ‘audition’ one of the rarest and most powerful domestic loudspeakers in the world – BeoLab 90. Three years in the making and developed to mark the 90th anniversary of Bang & Olufsen, BeoLab 90 is the culmination of the wildest dreams of the company’s acoustics department. Those that took the opportunity to experience BeoLab 90, which cost nearly £54,000 for a pair, were amazed by nearly 8200 watts of crystal clear sound!

Hors d’oeuvres were served throughout the evening and the night of unprecedented entertainment was completed with a prize draw.
