As the summer holidays come to an end, The Wonderworks Margate is delighted to announce its next big event, set to take place during the autumn half term. On the 28th and 29th of October, visitors will have the chance to join exclusive model-making workshops, where they can create some of Aardman’s most beloved characters.

The sessions will be led by an expert model maker from Aardman Animations, the celebrated studio behind classic productions such as Wallace & Gromit, Shaun the Sheep, and Chicken Run. The model maker has worked on many of Aardman’s well-known projects and will share fascinating behind-the-scenes stories and insights into the world of stop-motion animation.

Attendees of all skill levels will enjoy crafting their own characters, with three separate sessions available over the two days, covering Feathers McGraw, Gromit, and Shaun the Sheep.

Workshop Schedule:

• Feathers McGraw: 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM
• Gromit: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM
• Shaun: 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM
