Ashford School Artist In Residence exhibition now open!

The Ashford School Artist In Residence exhibition entitled “The New Shopping Experience” opened
on Monday 24 May at an invite-only Preview event.


The exhibition features work from Rainna Erbas and the Ashford School Art Department.
The Mayor and Mayoress of Ashford were in attendance, amongst other guests. One of the Art
Scholars, Mola Etan, sold his first-ever piece of art at the event!

The exhibition, headlined by well-known Ceramicist Rainna Erbas, is on until Friday 28 May at the St
Mary’s Church in Ashford.

Times:
Tuesday 25 May to Thursday 27 May: 10:00 to 16:00
Friday 28 May: 10:00 to 12:00

Rainna was a contestant on Channel 4’s Great Pottery Throwdown in 2020. Visitors will be able to
see Rainna’s Penguin and Chess Set pieces from the show.
