Owners and staff at Audley Mote House, the luxury retirement village near to Maidstone, hosted a Coffee Morning on Friday 30th September as part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. With events taking place all over the UK, the event is Macmillan’s largest annual fundraiser for people facing cancer. With many village owners attending the fundraising event, Audley Mote House was able to raise a grand total of £250.23 for Macmillan Cancer Support.

Since the first official World’s Biggest Coffee Morning in 1991, Macmillan’s event has continued to bring friends, family and neighbours together to raise money for a brilliant cause.

Philip Urquhart, Village Manager, Audley Mote House, said: “Holding the Coffee Morning was a lovely occasion and the perfect opportunity for owners to catch up while raising money for a brilliant cause. We’d like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who took part, baked cakes and came along. We’re already looking forward to next year’s event!”

With over 90% of the properties now sold Audley Mote House has recently released the plans for the final 7 properties, situated in and around the original Grade II listed stable block.
