Battel Hall at Leeds Castle has officially been awarded the title of ‘Best New Venue’ at this year’s UK Wedding Awards!

Created by UK bridal brands hitched and You & Your Wedding magazine; these national awards identify the UK’s very best venues, services and suppliers. A panel of experts carefully shortlisted the initial entrants, before leaving it up to the public to choose their official winner. Over 22,000 people voted across all 28 categories with a total of 75,000 votes being made. Battel Hall was up against 11 other finalists from all around the UK for the title of Best New Venue.

Nestled on the edge of the Castle’s 500 acre estate, Battel Hall is a beautifully restored country house that opened its doors for bookings in 2018 for the first time in almost 700 years. In the winter, couples can say ‘I Do’ in the intimate, oak-panelled Ceremony Room before moving onto the luxurious Drawing Rooms, comforted by the warmth of traditional open fires. In the warmer months, there is also the option to be married under the garden’s old English bower, before celebrating with up to 100 guests on the marquee terrace beside enchanting wisteria vines.

Battel Hall wedding packages include a 3-night stay for up 14 people, with exclusive use of the manor and private gardens.
