Throughout the months of summer, Bewl Water launched its seasonal photo competition ‘#BESTOFBEWLWATER’. Bewl Water transforms throughout the seasons and visitors capture many fascinating photographs throughout, therefore Bewl Water launches a seasonal competition to encourage these stunning images and visitors to get involved with taking photographs from different viewpoints.

Entries were sent through via email and social media, they were then reviewed by the board who chose the winning shot. Winter’s winning photo comes from Geoffery Frost who captured this impressive shot of this lady looking out across the still waters of Bewl.

This will now be displayed at The Waterfront Café at Bewl Water for all visitors to see. The next competition will take place on the Spring Equinox, 20TH  March, to embrace the stunning spring months at Bewl Water, so make sure to visit Bewl and enter to be in with a chance of winning.

“If you’re venturing out for a leisurely walk or bike ride, or you just want to sit by the water for a while, make sure you remember your camera and you could be the proud owner of the winning image. We love seeing all of the entrants and always so impressed by the spectacular shots our guests manage to capture,” said Phil Daley, Operations Director of Markerstudy Leisure, owners of Bewl Water.

The winner will receive a three-course meal and a house drink for two at the Boat House Bistro. To celebrate the winning shot, an enlarged canvas of the winning entry will go on display at Bewl Water and is shared with followers of Bewl Water on social media.

The Boat House Bistro is open at weekends, between 12noon and 4pm on Fridays (Fish & Chips only) Saturday’s and 12noon and 4pm (Light Lunch or A La Carte menu), Sundays 12-4pm (A La Carte menu).
