The countdown has officially commenced for the Bewl Water ‘Big Dog Day Out’, which will take place on Sunday 18^th March. In collaboration with pet company ‘Beco’, the eco-friendly pet food and accessory supplier, the event promises visitors a day out for the whole family, and of course your furry friends.

The main event of the day is the treasure hunt, for which you and your four-legged companion set out around the stunning reservoir to collect you ‘treats’ from a range of fun suppliers, filling up your goody bag as you go. Once you have finished the treasure hunt the fun doesn’t stop there, with dog groomers, dog agility courses, professional dog photographers as well as mini golf, face painters and much much more.

There will also be a range of pet charities and rehoming organisations who will be raising awareness as well as sharing information on those wishing to adopt a pet or support those in need.

Alongside all the treats for your pooches there are plenty of treats for the rest of the family including homemade sweet treats and healthy lifestyle stalls.

After an action-packed day completing the treasure hunt and visiting the stalls, you can refuel in the Waterfront Café afterwards, where both hot and cold refreshments will be served throughout the course of the day.
