Bluewater to host Spring Home & Garden Event

Big-name retailers involved in free 10-day showcase, including Miele and Freddie’s Flowers

Bluewater is to host a free ten-day Spring Home & Garden Event this month giving guests the chance to browse a range of well-known brands showcasing everything from kitchen products and home technology to furniture and furnishings.

The show, outside The Village area of the centre, will be open from Friday 13th to Sunday 22nd May and includes interior design, DIY, fitness equipment and garden products.

New for this year’s event, the “House of Tomorrow” will give visitors a glimpse into what our homes might look like years from now. The 20-minute demonstration will feature the newest home technology showing visitors how the latest gadgets enhance work, rest, and play. It will include topical issues such as energy prices and home working and features 3D printing, augmented reality, drones and more.

Organiser Michael Dynan said: “After the past few years, our homes and gardens have never been more important to us, so it is wonderful to be able to showcase so many great products and technologies at Bluewater this May.

“Bluewater is one of the country’s leading retail destinations and to be able to bring many new products to their audience presents a fantastic opportunity. I’d like to thank Miele for partnering with us to bring this event to life.”

James Waugh, Centre Director at Bluewater, commented: “The Spring Home & Garden Event will be a fantastic opportunity to browse the latest products from top retailers – with Bluewater’s own brands getting involved alongside lots of well-known names from further afield.”

Shoppers can browse brands including Miele – who have just opened their new store at the centre, Kutchenhaus, Moda, Easy Bathrooms, Lexus, Sleep I.D, Freddies Flowers, Elmeda Grace and many more.

John Lewis will be offering their interior design services and Marks and Spencer’s will be running a competition to win their latest garden furniture range.

The Spring Home & Garden Event will be open daily from 10am-6pm outside The Village area of the centre. Spaces are limited and guests are encouraged to register for their free tickets as soon as possible. One lucky visitor will win a Miele Triflex Power Vacuum. For more information, visit
