A huge variety of roles are available this year, including management positions at over 60 of Bluewater’s leading retailers and restaurants. Vacancies will be advertised by JD Sports, John Lewis, House of Fraser, Neal’s Yard Remedies, Giraffe, Godiva and more.

Since its foundation, the Bluewater Jobs Fair has helped match 7,050 suitable candidates to vacancies at Bluewater. In total, The Learning Shop and Bluewater partnership, which began 18 years ago, has brokered employment for over 46,000 people and has trained in excess of 22,000 people.

MP for Dartford, Gareth Johnson and Mayor of Dartford, Rosanna Currans will be visiting the event on Friday alongside Bluewater’s General Manager, Robert Goodman and Howard Noble, Customer Service Leader, Kent Department for Work and Pensions.

Gareth Johnson, MP commented on the Jobs Fair:

“I am delighted to be part of The Bluewater Jobs Fair, now in its sixth year. The Fair is a key employment initiative in matching hopeful candidates with positions at Bluewater, and each year the event goes from strength to strength. The variety of jobs available continues to grow, which creates an even more diverse range of opportunities for local people.

The number of people who have benefited since the Fair’s inception is a testament to the great work by the team at The Learning Shop and Bluewater. I would like to wish all the hopeful candidates the very best of luck when applying for positions.”

Speaking on behalf of The Learning Shop’s partners, Robert Goodman, Bluewater’s General Manager, added:

“It is great to be hosting Bluewater’s Jobs Fair for its sixth consecutive year, and to have such a variety of jobs on offer. We look forward to welcoming candidates to the fair, which, for the first time, takes place over two days this year. I have no doubt that the fair will be another great success for The Learning Shop, with lots of positive employment stories to follow.”
