Broadstairs Food Festival Returns this Autumn 2025

With the end of a glorious summer just around the corner, Broadstairs Autumn Food Festival is the next notable step on the county’s calendar. The three-day weekend (3 – 5 October) will be an epicurean delight with a full festival marquee programme. This historic coastal town’s festival draws thousands of food-lovers each year, promising an action-packed weekend full of immersive culinary theatre and some of the region’s top talent.

Almost 100 of Kent’s finest producers

It wouldn’t be the Broadstairs Food Festival without championing Kent talent. The Victoria Gardens, with their unique clifftop location, will be awash with an impressive range of almost 100 traders of local and regional products: ales and ciders, award winning bakery, confectionery, pickles, preserves and cheese.

Festival Marquee

Taking to the stage throughout the three days will be a cast of exceptional chefs that includes Michelin starred Stephen Harris of The Sportsman, Seasalter, Tony & Becky Rodd of Fifteen Square Metres, Broadstairs and National Chef of the Year finalist 2024, Craig Edgell of Buoy and Oyster, Margate.

Ticketed events

Ale lovers will be offered a rare opportunity to meet local brewers and experience the unique taste of green hop ale. It is a limited-edition ale, particular to harvest time. No festival would be complete without a wine tasting. This autumn, the festival will feature not one, but two taste sessions. Biddenden’s Tom Barnes will partner with Steve Parker as they share their twin passions: cheese and wine, and Alex Prymaka closes the weekend with a twist: a blind wine tasting session to tease palettes. A lively session and a fitting end to the festival weekend.

Foot tapping

A festival is not a festival without music and Broadstairs won’t be the exception to the rule. There is ample outdoor seating around the bandstand, with local musicians on Friday and Saturday, closing with the Thanet Concert Band on Sunday.

Broadstairs Food Festival will take place from 10am – 6pm on Friday 3 & Saturday 4 October and from 10am – 5pm on Sunday 5 October. From more information and to book tickets, visit broadstairsfoodfestival.org.uk
