6 Different Types of Roulette Betting

There are so many great ways in which you can spend your time playing games online. With so many genres, platforms, and titles, there is no way you could ever get bored of online gaming. With this considered, it is definitely something that everyone should try at least once in their life. If you feel like playing at online casinos is where you would enjoy your gaming the most, then that is where you should play. A popular option that you might want to try out first is roulette. This is a simple game that can offer a lot of fun. If you are not sure of the different bets you can make when playing roulette, here is a breakdown.

Red/Black

This is probably one of the simplest bets you could ever make in your life. The roulette wheel is made up mostly from red and black tiles, with one green tile. If you wish to bet on a colour, you should just simply choose the option you think it would land on. This is a 50/50 bet and it will return you as an evens bet. Odd/Even

Odd and even is also a very simple form of betting. The tiles on a roulette wheel are numbered from 1-36. If you choose evens, then you are going to need the ball to land on an even tile. While if you bet on odds, you need the ball to land on an odd. Once again, this bet has a 50/50 chance of coming through, with even odds.

High and Low

High and low help to bring the numerical value of the tiles into the game.  If this is the bet you want to make, you are going to have to try and guess whether or not the ball will land in the low numbers or the high ones. Picking low, you would need the ball to land between 1-18. While picking high, you would be hoping for a finish in the 19-36 range. Again, these are both even money bets.

Columns

Columns are where the bets become a little bit more complicated. If this is the way you choose to bet, then you need to bet on the ball landing in one of the three columns. Guessing right will give you a pay out of 2:1.

Dozens

Another 2:1 bet you can make is through dozens. This is when you back the ball to land on a tile within a certain numerical value. You can do this by betting on 1-12, 13-24, and 25-36.

Straight Up

If you really want to win some decent money, you might want to go for a straight up bet. This is going to give you the odds of 35:1. Although the odds are a longshot, the pay out could be worth it. To win a straight up bet, you are going to need to pick one single number for the ball to land on, this could be 1, 8, 25, and so on.
