Join us for a truly memorable evening of flag-waving, singing and dance the night away. You will be enthralled by world-class music, captivated by famous performers, and amazed by our fireworks finale – all this while you have fun with your friends sipping champagne.

The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra will deliver another rousing programme and will be conducted masterfully as ever by Artistic Director for the Classical Concert John Rigby.  John is delighted to welcome Soprano Katie Bird and Tenor Anthony Flaum as part of this year’s event.

John said: “Both soloists bring freshness and energy to the programme, which combined with their remarkable voices, provides the perfect combination for the evening that the audience of the Leeds Castle Classical Concert has come to expect.”

The Patriot Girls will return as part of a Battle of Britain themed musical celebration to perform old favourites like “White Cliffs of Dover”; “Long way to Tipperary”; “Pack up your troubles” and “We’ll meet again”. The West-End leading ladies are one of the most versatile singing acts in the business and regularly perform all over the world.  Due to their backgrounds in opera, musical theatre and the pop/session world, they sing a multitude of vocal styles, which is ideal for this outdoor musical celebration.

The Garrison Artillery Volunteers will once again join the prestigious line up.  Three of their Second World War 25-pounder guns will fire a single salvo to open the event and will also accompany the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra in the concert finale of the 1812 Overture and National Anthem.

Hold onto your flags and hats and be wowed with an air display by Aero Legends as a jaw-dropping 1940’s Spitfire takes to the skies and the evening ends in style with our spectacular fireworks finale.

We’re confident that the 2017 event will exceed its reputation as a firm favourite with the people of Kent and beyond!
