Celebrating the centenary of Canterbury’s favourite bear, Rupert.

This month the Beaney were planning to open the doors to a special exhibition celebrating the centenary of Canterbury’s favourite bear, Rupert.

Sadly, the lockdown means the Beaney is now temporarily closed and the opening is postponed for for now until Wednesday 2 December (TBC), but that doesn’t mean the Rupert-related fun needs to stop completely.

Head over to the Beaney’s Facebook page, @TheBeaney, to take part in a competition to design a Rupert birthday card, with a £50 Rupert goody bag up for grabs.

Plus enjoy teaser images of the exhibition, interviews with team, virtual Rupert story corner time, and much more!
