Charles Dickens’ Great-Great-Grandson performs A CHRISTMAS CAROL

Tuesday 20th November 7:45pm

Gerald Dickens, the Great-Great-Grandson of Charles Dickens, returns to Revelation in Ashford with his masterful one-man performance of arguably Dickens’ most famous tale, ‘A Christmas Carol’.

Ebeneezer Scrooge is a grouch. He is a greedy businessman who never has a kind word for anyone and is infamous for his lack of Christmas cheer. Until one fateful night, when three ghosts appear in the dead of the night…

The internationally renowned show features more than 30 different characters and Gerald inhabits each one as his great-great-grandfather did over a hundred years ago.  From the first line to the last audiences become part of this magical tale.

‘Our applause seemed such an inadequate response’

‘Dickens is an endearing performer, an understated, energetic master of this story!’

‘The audience was rapt, as it was in Charles’s day’
