Cycle enthusiasts support Hospices’ Cyclo Sportive event

On 23rd September 2018 Heart of Kent Hospice is holding its 7th Cyclo Sportive starting and finishing from East Malling Research Centre, ME19 6BJ. This will give cycling enthusiasts of all ages a chance to complete a chip timed 36km, 65km or 104km route through the beautiful Kent countryside.

Having participated in 2016 and 2017, Kings Hill Wheelers, a cycling club for all abilities, will be entering again this year and providing additional support to sign the route. “We have chosen to support Heart of Kent Hospice again this year as they are local to our base and we’re looking forward to sharing our expertise and knowledge of the route to help raise funds for this much needed local charity” Says Matt from Kings Hill Wheelers.

An independent charity, Heart of Kent Hospice relies on the generosity of its supporters to raise £4 in every £5 it spends. So, whether you are a family, team of enthusiasts or an individual looking to set a personal best, our chip timed Cyclo Sportive 2018 is a great way to show your support.

“It’s fantastic to have such knowledge to assist with the event.” Says Erica Snow, Events and Community Fundraising Manager. “I’m looking forward to it being even better than last year and am really grateful to KingsHill Wheelers for their support,” she continues.
