Disabled Access Day at The Orchard Theatre

The Orchard Theatre is committed to improving access facilities and making the theatre accessible to everyone. As part of the annual Disabled Access Day on Saturday 12 March, the Orchard Theatre team will be encouraging anyone with access needs, disabled people, their friends and families to talk about accessibility over coffee and cake.

The Disabled Access Day at the Orchard Theatre is open to all visitors between 1pm – 3pm. It is a perfect chance to have a look around the theatre, ask questions and find out about upcoming accessible performances.

Access performances in our upcoming season include a captioned performance of Flare Path on Saturday 9 April, and a signed performance of Priscilla Queen of the Desert on Friday 29 April. Our 2016 Pantomime Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs will be a signed on Wednesday 14 December, a relaxed performance on Tuesday 20 December and an Audio Described Performance on Saturday 31 December 1pm.
