Feasts & Fun At The Weald of Kent Country Craft & Food Show
Set within the grounds of Penshurst Place near Tonbridge, the Weald of Kent Country Craft & Food Show returns over the early May Bank Holiday weekend from 2 – 4 May 2026. Penshurst Place, with its sweeping parkland and centuries-old architecture, provides a perfectly atmospheric backdrop for an event that celebrates craftsmanship in all its forms.
More than 175 independent stallholders will gather across indoor marquees and outdoor markets, showcasing handmade jewellery, ceramics, homeware, clothing, artwork and wellbeing products. Visitors can meet makers directly and discover small-scale producers from across Kent and beyond, with live craft demonstrations throughout the day offering insight into traditional skills including basketry, woodwork and textile techniques.
Food is, of course, a central part of the weekend. The Food & Drink Marquee will feature artisan cheeses, baked goods, sweet and savoury specialities, alongside a selection of street food vendors serving freshly prepared dishes. Live music, falconry displays and traditional fairground rides add to the vibrant programme, while families also benefit from complimentary access to Penshurst Place’s Adventure Playground.
Open daily from 10am to 5pm, with free parking and free entry for children under 16, the show offers a relaxed outdoor experience within one of Kent’s most historic estates. Penshurst Place provides accessible parking, toilets and wheelchair routes, although visitors should note that parts of the show take place on grass and uneven field terrain. Early bird tickets are available from the website now.
