FENWICK CANTERBURY ANNOUNCES LAUNCH OF CONTEMPORARY FURNITURE BRAND HEAL’S

Fenwick Canterbury has announced the launch of contemporary furniture brand Heal’s. Located within the furniture department on the second floor of the store and set over 3,500 square feet, the space will feature Heal’s furniture collections such as Lars, Brunel and Elka.

Heal’s has been designing, making and selling quality furniture for more than two centuries. Starting out as a mattress maker in 1810 and later embracing the ideals of the Arts and Crafts movement, Heal’s has a long history of collaborating with prominent designers.

Heal’s is as passionate today as it’s always been about introducing new ranges, discovering stars of the future and pushing the boundaries of outstanding contemporary design.

Simon Youden, Fenwick Canterbury store director: “We are delighted to welcome an iconic brand such as Heal’s to our store. They are a brand we’ve long time admired, and we are confident our customers will appreciate the quality of the products and service on offer. We are always looking to evolve our in store offer by working with the best brands in the market and Heal’s fit the bill perfectly”.

About Lars:

Offering the simplicity and refinement of Scandinavian design, Lars is an expertly designed painted collection of bedroom furniture by Danish design brand, Says Who. Comprising a double and king size bed, wardrobe, bedside table and three choices of drawer units, the range is characterised by minimalist design and supreme functionality, making it the go-to addition for any chic, modern bedroom. Exclusive to Heal’s, Lars features integrated solid walnut leg plinths and is carefully designed with fine groove detailing and solid wood lips. The pairing of deep walnut tones with a matt painted grey finish gives each piece a cool and contemporary timeless appeal.

About Brunel:

Rob Scarlett’s ever-popular Brunel range combines a strong industrial style with a mid-century aesthetic. Made for modern living, solid American oak is paired with powder coated steel creating a stylish and well-designed collection of furniture that is perfect for new homes and smaller spaces. Clever design is apparent throughout the entire range – pieces don’t need to be secured to the wall with fixings and its hidden storage solutions are perfect for those short on space.

About Elka:

Harry Batchelor’s blue Elka Sideboard is exclusively available at Heal’s as part of our Heal’s Discovers programme. Through Heal’s Discovers we’re championing and supporting the UK’s best emerging design talent. This design-forward sideboard is expertly crafted using solid walnut and walnut venner, with doors painted in rich cobalt blue. The Elka Sideboard has neat, slimline proportions, meaning it’s the perfect size for a dining room or hallway. It also offers plenty of storage, with shelving hidden behind the striking blue doors. Finishing touches like touch latch doors, soft-close hinges and unique cut-out leg detailing lend Elka an even more luxurious feel.
