Final days to vote for the Taste of Kent Award Winners for 2020

With voting now finished in the General Election, there is still time to vote and make a difference to the result in the Taste of Kent Awards 2020, with just two weeks left for the public to cast their vote (by 2 January 2020) and show their support for Kent’s food and drink producers and retailing heroes.

The top ten placed businesses are now displayed online and the lists are changing daily https://www.tasteofkentawards.co.uk/top-10/ Every vote counts, so to keep your favourites in the running for an award, don’t forget to vote. Hundreds of Kent businesses and/or their products have already been nominated and voted for by the public and being shortlisted in the top three in January can make a huge difference to a local business.

Jill Sargent at Produced in Kent comments: “We want to help food and drink businesses here in Kent start the new decade with a bang, so this is the final call for the public to vote and to help out their favourites.”

“Christmas is the busiest time for Kent’s food and drink producers and retailers and a lot of people will eat out and celebrate the festive season with some delicious Kentish produce and products. We would like people to spend a couple of minutes casting their vote for the local food and drink heroes who have impressed them and to say thank you to them for making their Christmas festivities extra special.

The Taste of Kent Awards are organised by Produced in Kent and showcase the very best products and food and drink businesses across Kent and Medway.

To vote, go to www.tasteofkentawards.co.uk and in doing so you will be helping local businesses to receive the support and recognition they deserve.

Once voting closes, the three businesses that have received the most votes in each category will then make it through to the final round of tasting, mystery shopping, mystery dining and expert judging panels.

The shortlist will be announced in January 2020 and the winners will be announced at the Taste of Kent Awards Gala dinner, which takes place 5 March 2020 at the Kent Event Centre.
