Five Guys Launches Curbside Pickup Collection Service at Ashford
Fresh from putting the 196 page November issue to print, the team at insideKENT decided to treat themselves to a well deserved Five Guys from Ashford’s Designer Outlet.
Opting to use the newly introduced Curbside, a personalised and precise-location food pick-up order service.
When ordering we opted for a selection of cheeseburger, which both come as double patties, unless you ask for the little versions. Also you can order as many toppings from the 15 on offer including: Lettuce, Pickles, Tomatoes, Grilled Onions, Grilled Mushrooms, Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions
Plus don’t forget to add fries. If you like a bit of spice then ask for cajan style fries instead. The large will easily feed 2-3 people!
The Five Guys shake is a must for any visit and our firm favourite was the Oreo cookie pieces, which has an option to add cream and funnily enough you can add bacon to any shake!!
The collection experience, which promotes contactless payments and removes the need for customers to leave their cars to collect their Five Guys takeaway.
Curbside uses proprietary location technologies, sending timely customer arrival notifications to Five Guys Crew so orders can be prepared and brought to customers as soon as they arrive close to the restaurant. From the start of an order to completion, Curbside supports the entire customer journey, providing a faster, easier order and pick-up experience.
Similar to Click & Collect, users of Curbside simply place an order online via the Five Guys website or app, but in addition Five Guys will know when you arrive to bring the food out to your car using pioneering technology – a first for the UK’s food and beverage sector.
