Forage & Feast Workshop at Betteshanger
Betteshanger’s half day Forage and Feast workshop on 1 October provides the perfect introduction to searching for and cooking delicious wild foraged food.
As winter approaches learn how to use wonderful vitamin enriched berries and plants to keep your immune system healthy.
From nature’s simple bounty, Lucia will teach how to make delicious foodstuffs, such as a vinegar made from elderberries, hedgerow jellies, fruit cordials, Douglas Fir vodka and hawthorn brandy. Together you will cook a scrumptious outdoor feast in the wild kitchen.
Workshops are suitable for adults and children (aged 8 years and over) but the latter must be accompanied by an adult. A foraging walk will take 1 to 2 hours and the remaining workshop will preparing, cooking and enjoying the wild food.
The half day workshop costs £35.00 per person or 2 places for £60.
