Forks at the ready for a festival of local food!

Holwood Farm Shop won’t just be slicing its celebration cake when it marks its first birthday this October – there will be a Holwood world of foods and flavours on offer for its birthday party visitors!

The Keston farm shop is marking its birthday – and British Food Fortnight – with a free ‘Festival of Food’ on Saturday 5th October, when customers will get the chance to taste-test food and drink from some of the county’s top artisan producers. Between 10am and 4.30pm, tuck into moreish morsels from local and artisan producers including cheese makers, brewers and bakers and farmers, with free parking and free entry for all.

“Come and taste the Garden of England,” says owner Gary, who runs the business with wife Sarah. “It promises to be a harvest festival of flavours where you can sample speciality food, meet the producers behind your favourite foods and take home a bagful of goodies!”

The farm shop, located in New Road Hill, Keston, prides itself on sourcing as much food as possible from Kent and the South East, much of which customers can try before they buy in the upstairs coffee shop.

The farm shop and coffee shop are open Tuesday-Saturday 9am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. For more information log on to
