Get Ready for a Feel Good Adventure at The Big Retreat 2025!
Set in the picturesque countryside village of Lawrenny in Pembrokeshire, Wales, The Big Retreat
Festival returns in 2025 for its seventh year, with their renowned four days of feel-good fun from the 23– 26 May 2025.

Hailed as a life-changing experience by former retreaters, this truly is a festival like no other. Attendees are in the heart of nature in the picturesque setting of Lawrenny for a holistic journey of wellness, community and music. Long established as one of the leading UK wellness retreats & festivals, The Big Retreat is a beacon of holistic wellbeing, drawing wellness enthusiasts, families and individuals seeking a break from the everyday hustle and a place to recharge – less Glasto and more restorative and relaxing – as a retreat should be. The festival’s line-up of speakers, activities and workshops aim to inspire, encourage connection and uplift.
This year’s event features an array of musical talent, including celebrated artists like Newton Faulkner, The Beatles Dub Club, Nati and Revival – The Abba Tribute Band and the Sunbirds. Gok Wan will be adding to the feelgood atmosphere with a DJ set. The festival also promises a feast for the mind and body, with fitness, well-being, inspiring conversation and connection happening across the 12 feel good areas on site.
Co-founder of The Big Retreat, Amber Lort-Phillips said: “The Big Retreat is a celebration of positivity, curiosity, and self-care. With 300 carefully curated experiences across 10 different areas, led by hundreds of instructors and artists, this festival really does have something for everyone and has been voted one of the top wellbeing and adventure festivals in the UK.”
The Talk Tent will be buzzing with inspiring conversation and stories from authors, speakers, and adventurers. Among them is comedian & mental health campaigner Ruby Wax, author Donna Ashworth, shelf help founder Toni Jones, ADHD Love & biohacking expert Dr Alka Patel. Food enthusiasts also have a treat in store with culinary talks and demos from Fell Foodie, Ellen Picton and Kwoklyn Wan.
For those looking for adventure, there’ll be wild swimming and paddleboarding on the beautiful Cleddau estuary. Guests can also restore their balance and energy with yoga and breathwork classes within the Soul Space and boost their wellbeing through creative activities in the Mind Space. The Fitness Field looks to energise guests through a plethora of energetic exercise classes and the Darwin’s Den looks to inspire change. There is also the Little Retreaters space for those with young families looking to have fun and play.
For a slower pace, festival goers can enjoy a relaxing massage in the Woodland Spa or hire out a
private hot tub and simply gaze at the breath-taking views over the only coastal national park in
Britain. The festival is also family-friendly, with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy. For accommodation, there is the option of camping, glamping, staying in a local hotel/B&B or bringing along your own campervan.
