Girlings Solicitors raises £3,850 for Pilgrims Hospices
Girlings Solicitors has raised £3,850 for Pilgrims Hospices following participation in its annual Make a Will Month initiative. This partnership builds on the Firm’s longstanding support for the scheme.

Each April, our solicitors donate a number of Will-making appointments, where clients donate directly to Pilgrims Hospices in lieu of paying for the drafting of the Will. The scheme which launched 14 years ago, has raised over £230,000 during this time which has supported the Hospice caring for people facing incurable illness.
Pilgrims Hospices provides compassionate, specialist-led care, free of charge to thousands of people living with life-limiting conditions in East Kent each year. Support is offered in hospice settings in Canterbury, Ashford and Thanet, in patients’ homes and in the community.
Ellie Cane, individual giving manager at Pilgrims said: “We are incredibly grateful to the solicitors who give their time each year, ensuring people can access trusted legal advice, while helping Pilgrims be there for families when they need us most.”
Charlotte Nock, managing partner at Girlings said: “We are very supportive of the work of Pilgrims Hospices, and we are proud to contribute time in a meaningful way by preparing a number of Wills for which clients donate to Pilgrims Hospice in return for this service.
“Our continued involvement reflects our strong commitment to supporting causes that provide compassionate, essential care, and we are honoured to play a part in sustaining the invaluable work Pilgrims Hospices delivers every day.”
