More than 40 stalls will be selling the best of local food, drink and artisan crafts at Godinton House & Gardens’ Autumn Fair on Saturday, October 17, 2026.

Independent producers, most from Ashford and across Kent, will set up their stalls opposite the beautiful Grade I* listed house, from 11am to 4pm.

Events and Marketing Officer Pippa Batt says ‘the fair is growing year-on-year with a good mix of new and returning small businesses’. 

She said: “The new stallholders include Zoe Robyn who creates bespoke wedding and engagement rings and ReWild Botanicals, makers of natural, botanical home fragrance products. Forget-Me-Knots macramé is also making its debut and Shanaz Minhas, of Rainbow Raindrops, will be selling her illustrations and watercolour prints.”

Garden tools and accessories specialist Dan Cooper will be returning with his carefully curated stock for garden lovers and ceramicist Jane Richardson, whose studio is on the Godinton Estate, will be selling her nature-inspired pottery.

The Autumn Fair entry ticket also allows visitors to explore the 12-acre gardens which feature a Walled Garden, Italian Garden, Twin Borders, meadow and ponds.

The house Tearoom will not be open for its usual service that day but visitors will be able to take advantage of its indoor seating to enjoy food and drink bought at the fair.

Entry to the event is included in the price of a standard garden entry ticket with two entry times from 11am and 1.30pm. Season ticket/Historic Houses cardholders have free entry but also need to book.
