Godinton House & Gardens – Winter Art Fair
10th Anniversary Exhibition will display new artistic talent at Godinton House.
The Ashford Visual Artists celebrate ten years of their annual Art Fair from 27th to 29th November.
All are welcome to enjoy a whole variety of works from jewellery, textiles, printmakers, papyrus bookart, glass art and, of course, painting of all styles. The perfect place to browse for unusual and unique presents and to meet the artists.
Two guest artists have been invited by the AVA, Canterbury Oast Trust with a variety of contemporary, patterned craft items and Kingfisher Glass Artist’s striking stained glass and fired painted glass used in mirrors, panels and small gifts. New and returning artists such as Anne O’Driscoll, Dizzy Pragnell, Gill Bridgestock and Vicky Brand to name a few will add to the mix.
Nick Sandford, the estate manager at Godinton House, said, “I am sure that the tenth anniversary celebration will attract many visitors, there is always something new to see and a great chance to chat with the artists. All items are for sale and there are pieces to suit all tastes and budgets. Seeing modern art in an ancient setting brings this wonderful, old house to life. ”
The exhibition opens between 10am and 4pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Entry is free of charge and there is plenty of free parking.
