Be afraid! A hair-raising half term is planned at Betteshanger Park with spectacularly spooky activities taking place throughout the week.

Halloween Trail (21–29 October)
Follow Tawny Owl, Guardian of the Woods, and his loyal friend Spider on a mysterious self-guided trail around the Park.

Owl Encounter (22 October)

Get up close to one of nature’s most beautiful nocturnal creatures. Meet a range of different Owls, learn about their behaviour and witness the majestic night predators soar silently above your head. Audience participation is not uncommon!

Pumpkin Carving (23–29 October)

Save your kitchen from getting messy this Halloween and carve your pumpkins with us! We’ll have lots of ghoulish ideas to get you started at our carving station.

Forest School Holiday Club (24–26 October)
Really Wild Wooders popular holiday club is back! Days will be full to the brim with learning how to use a whole range of different tools, lighting fires, camp fire cooking, creating woodland crafts, building dens, climbing trees, and exploring our amazing forest school site.

Woodland Witches and Wizards (28–29 October)
Join us deep the woods over Halloween weekend as we conjure up some friendly forest spirits. We’ll work together to make broomsticks, wands and spider webs. We’ll toast sticky marshmallows over the open fire and explore the woods hunting for creepy crawlies and things that go ‘boooo’!

Open Air Cinema: Hocus Pocus (28 October)
As darkness descends on the Park we’ll be firing up the big screen to show cult family favourite, Hocus Pocus (1993) under the stars. Pack a comfy chair, a warm blanket and a hamper. Sit back, popcorn in hand; relax and enjoy an alternative cinema experience under the stars.
