Happy Burger returns to Allegra for 1-day only

Following its sell-out, six-week residency last spring, Happy Burger is returning to Allegra on Sunday 25th September as a 1-day pop-up in celebration of the restaurant’s 3rd birthday.

Offering a concise and playful menu prepared by chef Patrick Powell and team, dish highlights include the famed Happy Burger, an Oklahoma-style burger with American cheese and fried onions, as well as sides such as Fried chicken with mustard fruit, aioli and pickles and Fried potatoes with beef chilli, sour cream and cheese.

In one of his recent New York Times columns, J. Kenji López-Alt described the Oklahoma onion burger as “a creation so perfect in its simplicity that it can’t be improved upon, only tweaked” so you can be sure you’re in for a treat on the 25th with Patrick’s “tweak” on what is undoubtedly an absolute classic.

A reduced drinks menu will also be available on the day featuring cocktails and English sparkling wine as well as beers from some of the world’s most exciting craft breweries including Braybrooke (Leicestershire), Partizan (South Bermondsey), Mondo (Battersea) and Lucky Saint (Bavaria).
