In celebration of the Hazlitt Theatres 70th Year, they are delighted to announce their special initiative which gives back to the local community by honouring a deserving local hero.

The Hazlitt Theatre is calling upon the local community to nominate a local hero who has made a significant impact and deserves special recognition. This chosen local hero and their guests will be invited to the exclusive VIP Gala Night for this year’s pantomime, Dick Whittington & His Cat, on 6 December.

They will enjoy both the pantomime and a pre-show VIP event, kindly sponsored by Wagamamma, Fred’s Wines, and The Little Princess Shop and Prison Island, who will be providing food, refreshments and extra magic and interactive surprises. The pre-show event will also feature a fabulous performance by the talented Hazlitt Institute (HI) Choir which is guaranteed to immerse the local hero in the festive spirit.

This is an opportunity to recognise the everyday heroes who make our local community a better place. Whether it is an individual you know who has made a positive impact in their local area or someone who has gone the extra mile, the Hazlitt Theatre wants to hear from you. Deadlines for nominations are 12 November and the selected nominee will be contacted ahead of the VIP night.
