HOLWOOD FARM CELEBRATES ANNUAL SPRING FESTIVAL OF FOOD
On Sunday 7th June, food lovers will flock to Holwood Farm Shop, near Keston, as it plays host to some of the area’s finest artisan producers.
The popular annual Festival of Food, which is now in its third year, will see visitors treated to delicious food and drink from across the region, with the opportunity to meet the makers.
From local cheeses and chutneys to artisan marshmallows and gourmet sauces, there will be plenty to please all the family, including locally made sausages and burgers sizzling on the barbecue.
The festival takes place between 10am and 4pm and there is free parking and free entry for all.
“The Festival is a great attraction for the region’s foodies, and a great place to meet the people behind the wonderful products we stock here in the farm shop,” says farm shop owner, Gary Mercer, who runs the business with wife Sarah.
The farm shop, located in New Road Hill, Keston, prides itself on sourcing as much food as possible from Kent and the South East, much of which customers can also enjoy in the upstairs coffee shop.
The farm shop and coffee shop are open Tuesday to Saturday 9am to 5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm. For more information, visit www.holwoodfarm.com.
