HOSPICES OF HOPE HOLDS ITS FIRST FURNITURE UPCYCLE EVENT
Kent based charity, Hospices of Hope, held its first furniture upcycle event in Penshurst.
The workshop was run by Jay Finch, the charity’s Community and Challenge Events Fundraiser. He showed everyone how to transform unwanted furniture into useful attractive pieces.
Jay Finch said:
“We had a lovely day. Everyone enjoyed themselves, finished their project and felt enthused to do more. We are grateful to V33 for providing the paint and to Frederick and Sons for providing a venue. The workshop raised more than £300 which will help the charity develop and support hospice care in south east Europe.”
