HOSPICES OF HOPE’S FIRST CIDER TASTING EVENT IN OTFORD
Hospices of Hope held its first ever cider tasting evening in Otford to raise funds for hospice care in southeast Europe.
The charity teamed up with Kentish Pip Ciders and the Bull in Otford for the event.
After a fantastic buffet provided by the Bull, Freddie O’Sullivan introduced guests to some of the ciders which Kentish Pip produces at Woolton Farm in Canterbury. He explained how Kentish Pip creates ciders with plenty of depth and interest by blending a selection of apples grown on the farm. Everyone then had the chance to taste and compare the different blends.
The event raised over £900, which will support care for adults and children suffering from serious or terminal illness. Hospices of Hope would like to thank its supporters, Kentish Pip and the Bull for making this such a successful evening.
