Returning to the centre for the seventh year, the hugely popular Record Store Day took place at music and entertainment store Head Bromley, one of the few stores in the South East to celebrate the event.

“This year was the best yet,” said store manager Andy Low. “We had some amazing independent acts playing live throughout the day and the turnout was fantastic.”

Record Store Day saw over 200 independent record shops across the UK come together to celebrate their unique culture. Thousands more shops celebrated the day around the globe in what’s become one of the biggest annual events on the music calendar.
