Food + DrinkKent Towns

iinFLUENCED by… Liv Goodman, Tunbridge Wells local and social media influencer, @livslifeandhome

Tunbridge Wells is full of beautiful places – put together, they make it a wonderful place to live. The Pantiles is a great example of this and shows just how many amazing small businesses we have. Although the town is thriving, I love how close we are to the countryside. It is perfect for long dog walks in the winter sun, which is all I want to do in January.

Working at Perrys Accountants in Tunbridge Wells means I am in town every day. I am constantly discovering and exploring new coffee shops and places to eat, as we have so much variety. One of my top places for coffee is Fine Grind, and I particularly love the Amelia Centre to both study, and have coffee and food in, as it is such a calm environment.

The Pantiles is a great place for drinks with friends. You’ll usually find me at Charlotte’s for cocktails as they are always 10/10, plus the interiors are beautiful inside! I recommend the delicious food options too. Another great place for amazing cocktails is The Glasshouse. The ‘Gin and Jazz’ nights are so much fun on The Pantiles – it’s great that we have such amazing live music locally.

Pantiles Café and Bar

Brunch is my favourite hobby, especially when I need cheering up after Christmas. The Black Dog, Daily Bread, The Pantiles Cafe, Framptons and The Earl Grey Tea Rooms are consistently good.

For dinner, I love Cantuccio for Italian food, Saint John’s Yard for their incredible halloumi Caesar salad and Soprano’s for tapas. Roddy Burger is a huge love of mine (the Seoul Sister burger is out of this world!), and as a vegetarian, gluten-free girl, it’s great that they offer these options.

When it comes to shopping, I love boutiques – Bod and Ted is one of my faves, I am always stocking up on unique, beautiful items.
