Kent kids set for a summer of sporting fun at The Forum
This summer The Forum Shopping Centre in Sittingbourne will be treating youngsters to a variety of sporting challenges and events in a bid to help keep children active during the Kent school holidays.
Running every Saturday from 29th July until 2nd September, local children are invited to take on a variety of sports day style activities and see who can achieve the highest score.
Challenges will include:
- Hula hooping
- Egg and spoon
- Kick ups and skipping
- Bowling
- Crazy golf
- Long jump
Even better, the child with the highest score logged on The Forum Shopping Centre’s exclusive ‘Sporting Summer’ leader board at the end of each day will be announced the winner and receive a special prize courtesy of the centre’s retailers.
Monica Rana, Centre Manager at The Forum Shopping Centre, commented:
“We’re thrilled to be kick-starting our ‘Sporting Summer’ campaign. The events aim to help keep kids active through the six week break as well as offering a fun and free event for families during what can often be an expensive time. I look forward to announcing our weekly winners!”
