Kent’s Foremost Mediterranean Restaurant

Situated in the Kent town of West Wickham, the family friendly Mediterranean restaurant, Prima Donnas, launched in 1993 and has long since gained a steadfast reputation as a firm favourite with local families. It has also played host to countless business rendezvous and has become a desirable destination for out-of-towners.

The menu serves a variety of Mediterranean cuisine including French, Italian, Spanish and Greek dishes. Fish and shell fish are staples on the menu and always freshly sourced direct from the market; Dover sole, skate wings and sea bass to name a few. The a la carte menu has even more options including lobster and chateaubriand amongst others. Other popular dishes include succulent T-bone of veal, surf and turf, traditional paella and black pasta with seafood.

The main restaurant is vast and attracts a sociable crowd with Friday and Saturday buzzing; and Sunday Lunch is highly popular with a special children’s menu and even baby portions are available on request so be sure to book in advance.

During the great British summertime you can enjoy al fresco dining in the garden terrace, and although Mediterranean climates cannot be promised you can quite often forget your whereabouts and imagine you have been whisked away over a chilled prosecco and mussels mariniere. The Prima Bar satisfies those wishing to quench their thirst; enjoy a relaxed morning coffee and read the paper whilst yummy mummies catch up with friends, or drop in for evening drinks and if the aroma from the kitchen gets all too much impromptu nibbles are available.

Special events include scheduled live music and to date Prima Donnas has seen many artists perform including renowned Jazz artist Jamie Cullum. A complimentary Gold Card is available for regular diners and this entitles them to discounts and special offers throughout the year.

In short, Prima Donnas’ welcoming atmosphere and gastronomic offerings are a warming Mediterranean delight not to be missed.
