Keogh Caisley and Pettitts Travel sponsor Hospices of Hope’s Charity Breakfast

Legal firm, Keogh Caisley and Pettitts Travel sponsored a breakfast event at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbridge Wells to raise funds for Kent based charity, Hospices of Hope.  Rob Caskie, entertained the audience with his compelling account of the desperate plight of British soldiers in the Battle of Rourke’s Drift in his native South Africa.

This is the second year that Hospices of Hope has hosted a breakfast with Rob as speaker.  The event has become extremely popular with more than 60 guests enjoying a fantastic breakfast and Rob’s skills as a professional story teller.   Rob thanked the audience for attending and supporting people facing similar overwhelming challenges.

Founder of Hospices of Hope, Graham Perolls, commented on the event saying

“Rourke’s Drift was an epic defence against impossible odds.  In the countries where we work thousands of people suffering from terminal or life-limiting illness face similar struggles.  They have to cope with serious illness without any access to medical care and feel frightened and alone.   I am very grateful to our sponsors and everyone who attended this breakfast for supporting our work so that we can continue to improve hospice care in Romania, Serbia and Moldova”.
