Let’s go BIG for Visit Kent’s BIG WEEKEND!

Calling all Kent Residents…

Did you know that every year our friends over at Visit Kent secure thousands of FREE (yes, completely free!) tickets for our county’s top tourist attractions so that local residents can enjoy an incredible day out, right here at home?

The offer is exclusively for Kent residents and it’s all about taking pride in our county, celebrating our incredible tourism offer and sharing it with our loved ones. A free day out for you and your family and friends…what’s not to love?

Fancy sipping a cold pint of home-brewed beer at Curious Brewery? Winding your way around Canterbury Cathedral on a guided tour? Exploring the fascinating and unique handling collection at the Powell-Cotton Museum? Perhaps riding the waves at the Kent Surf School is more your vibe? Or apple picking at The Brogdale Collections? You can even enjoy a romantic night away at one of Kent’s top hotels or taste some of the finest Kentish produce at one of the dining experiences on offer.

From cathedrals, museums, tours, national properties and hotels to restaurants, outdoor activities and absolutely everything in between, the absolute best that Kent has to offer will be up for grabs in the ticket ballot – you just have to be in it to win it as they say!

Luckily for you, we have all the information you need to make sure you don’t miss out on this amazing, local offer.

When is it?

The 2024 Big Weekend will take place on both Saturday 20 and Sunday 21 April 2024

How does it work?

There will be THOUSANDS of tickets on offer including experiences at Canterbury Cathedral, The Brogdale Collection, The Powell-Cotton Museum, The View Hotel, various National Trust properties, Canoe Wild, Ramsgate Tunnels, The WonderWorks, The Romney Hythe & Dymchurch Railway – and so many more!

Do I get to choose my prizes if I’m selected?

Yes absolutely – you can apply for the specific attractions and offers that you are interested in! And as many of them as you’d like, too.

How do I enter the ballot?
