With the summer drawing to a close, Macknade is celebrating its place at the heart of the  Kent community with a now-annual birthday party, taking place in the Food Village on  Saturday September 9th. 

Kicking off at midday, there is plenty to keep the whole family entertained, including live  music from local indie/rock band Los Magos, a DJ & live saxophone set courtesy of Viva  Vibz, kids craft activities, tasting & masterclasses from Macknade’s top suppliers. 

There is also a tombola featuring a whole host of wonderful prizes, kindly donated by  friends & suppliers, with all proceeds going to Macknade’s Charity of the Year, local mental  health charity, Mid Kent Mind. 

That’s not to mention a fantastic line up of dishes from the Macknade Kitchen and the  resident Food Village traders Al Taco, The Little Katsu Kitchen, Mamies Crepes & Macie  Cakes, plus drinks from the Time & Tide Taproom and Wildbox’ craft cocktail bar. 

The event is free to attend and guests can drop in at any time from 12-9pm. Parking is  available on-site, or it’s only a short 15 minute walk from Faversham station.
