Makeover for Tudor Park Spa

Tudor Park Marriott Hotel & Country Club in Bearsted has unveiled a new look for its spa this week with four refurbished therapy suites, a new pedicure area, an expanded team of therapists and an investment in the latest skincare technology from Elemis, the well-known luxury brand of skincare.

The four-star hotel is the first Marriott Hotel & Country Club in the UK to introduce this scientific approach to beauty therapy and to facilitate the new Elemis technology, its team of beauty therapists has been increased by nearly a third.  The spa now has 11 beauty therapists – four years ago there were just four.

The Elemis’ skin analysis computer photographs the face and produces in-depth analysis of the skin’s structure, pinpointing problems such as blocked pores or sun damage. The latest biotech equipment is then used to prescribe facials based on the computer evidence.

A new look and a new team for Tudor Park spa

“The new look and the investment in Elemis means we can offer our leisure club members and guests an even more luxurious pampering experience, coupled with a scientific approach to skin care if they would like to have a facial,” said Jane Don Lohmann, Tudor Park’s director of leisure.

Despite Brexit, Jane says there has been a continued growth in the number of people coming for spa treatments over the past year and, since the introduction of the new look, Tudor Park “has been busier than ever”. Once the domain of women, men are increasingly more in tune with themselves and booking spa appointments, she says, and a growing trend has been couples coming for `his and hers’ treatments to celebrate anniversaries and birthdays.

The spa is part of a substantial leisure offer at the hotel which also includes a state-of-the-art cardiovascular suite and gym, indoor pool with sauna, plus fitness classes and an 18-hole championship golf course.  Spa treatments include full use of the indoor leisure facilities.

Tudor Park spa and leisure facilities are open seven days a week from 8am to 9pm. For more information or to book call: 01622 632007.
