Mary Portas Secret Shopper TV Show re-brands Shobiz Hair Salon

The new series of ‘Mary Portas Secret Shopper’ will feature Sidcup hair salon Shobie & Co.

When Mary Portas worked with salon director Shobie Lee and her team last summer to improve customer service and raise the profile of the salon it was truly a ‘hair raising’ experience for all concerned.

Mary Portas normally works with some of Britain’s best-known brands and high-street chains to give shoppers the service they deserve.  This series takes her to the independent shop and salon owners on our local high street. The programme airs on Channel 4 on Wednesday 13 January at 8pm.

In the second episode of the series Mary takes on this hair salon in Kent where staff are at war with the owners. Can she unite the team and save the business?

“We applied for the show because we had been stuck in a rut and needed the salon and staff to up our game”. Said Shobie Lee, Salon Director

The salon formerly known as Shobiz Hair & Beauty applied to the show because things simply had to change.  Mary came in and Revamped, Redesigned and Reimagined this salon and its work ethic to become Shobie & Co.  Was it simple for Mary as she tries to bring some order and turn this long established hair salon around slap bang into 2016?  Many changes are afoot and the staff are ruffled but how will it turn out for Shobie, her salon and her staff in the New Year?  Watch to find out.

There will be a special Mary Portas Promotion that will launch on the day of the show.  All you have to do is go into the salon and say ‘Mary Portas‘ at reception to qualify!  Have fun!
