McArthurGlen Designer Outlet Ashford is proud to announce Home Start Ashford & District as its 2018 Charity of the Year. Committed to giving back to the local community, McArthurGlen Ashford will support the charity from the New Year through a variety of initiatives and activities, which will help aid its mission of supporting families in Ashford and the surrounding area.

Home Start focuses on the belief that children in the Ashford and District area need a happy and secure childhood, which can be achieved by parents playing a key role in giving their child a positive start in life. The charity’s mission is to offer support and friendship to families with at least one child under the age of 5 years old through enhancing their well-being and overall family life.

McArthurGlen Ashford understands that children are the future and is delighted to be working with Home Start Ashford and District next year. The centre is committed to the wellbeing of our youth and truly values the great significance of providing philanthropic support for the next generation.

Home Start invests in families through a variety of core values, such as listening, support, trust, respect, empathy and care. McArthurGlen Ashford will champion the charity with support and activities such as hosting fundraising events in centre, offering gift cards as prize donations at fundraising events, providing extensive support across marketing channels and much more throughout 2018.

Peter Corr Centre Manager at McArthurGlen Ashford says: “We are proud to support an organisation so dedicated to the community’s youth. As 2018 Charity of the Year, McArthurGlen Ashford will work closely with Home Start Ashford & District’s to achieve its mission of providing the highest quality of services to families in the surrounding area. We are looking forward to bringing awareness to Home Start, raising funds and creating a positive environment for families in the area.

In 2017, McArthurGlen Ashford partnered with Kent Challenger Games and hosted several onsite fundraising activities to support the charity. The centre is looking forward to continuing their work with the local community through this new collaboration with Home Start Ashford & District.
