Meri Festival Set To Champion Musicians, Farmers and Artists

Kent’s newest festival, Meri Festival, will take place on Saturday 30 August in Crockham Hill Village, neighbouring Westerham and will be a buzzing yet down-to-earth celebration bringing together the best of Kent’s vibrant music scene paired with award-winning food and drink producers and nature-based wellness activities for all ages.

Coakham Farm

Set against the backdrop of a working farm, the festival brings together the best of rural and cosmopolitan culture to celebrate the spirit of Kent. Meri Festival is a feel-good celebration, where lush green fields come alive for eleven hours of non-stop genre-spanning music. From soulful acoustic sets to high-energy jazz and rock, the line-up has jaw-dropping musicianship from seasoned pros who’ve performed at iconic venues like Wembley Stadium, Glastonbury and the Royal Albert Hall, including Rock Heart, Flux Capacitor and International DJ Marcel Mendez, curated with none other than Local & Live founder and organiser, Paul Dunton.

Rooted in the rhythms of the land, Meri Festival offers more than just music with nature-led workshops, woodwork inspired play, and mindful moments in the Healing Village. With locally sourced food and drink, handmade goods from artisan makers, and a programme designed for all ages, Meri is where you will reconnect with nature and the richness of rural life.

Olivia Green, organiser of Meri Festival said:
“I’ve watched my parents tend the land for 15+ years and I genuinely think it’s the most beautiful
place on earth; rolling hills and trees as far as you can see. I can’t wait to open it up in a way
that engages all ages and interests for a full day of good old-fashioned, feel good, festival fun.”

Meri Festival will take place on Saturday 30 August from 12pm – 11pm at Coakham Farm, Pootings Road, Crockham Hill, Kent, TN8 6SB. Adult tickets start from £37.50, child tickets from £20, family tickets from £90.

Free parking available, accessible site with toilets, friendly dogs on leads will be welcome.
